Baswedan Software (“we”, “our”, or “us”) built the Tabkhaty طبخاتي application as an ad-supported mobile app. This Service is provided at no cost and is intended for use as is.

This page explains how we handle your information, how the app uses system permissions and third-party services, and how this maps to the Google Play Data Safety requirements.

1. Information We Collect and How It Is Used

The Tabkhaty app itself does not require you to create an account, and we do not ask you to enter personal data such as your full name, phone number, or ID.

However, the app uses certain third-party services (such as advertising and analytics) that may collect limited information automatically to provide their functionalities and improve stability.

Examples of data that may be collected automatically by third-party services include:

• Device identifiers (such as the Advertising ID) for showing relevant ads and measuring ad performance.
• Approximate location (e.g., country or city) based on IP address for analytics and ad reporting.
• Technical information such as device model, OS version, app version, and language.
• Crash reports and performance data to help fix errors and improve stability.
• In-app events (like which screens are opened) to understand how users interact with the app.

This information is used for analytics, showing ads, preventing fraud/abuse, and improving the app. We do not sell your personal data.

2. Third-Party Services

The app may use the following third-party services that have their own Privacy Policies:

• Google Play Services
• Google AdMob
• Google Analytics for Firebase (if enabled)
• Firebase Crashlytics (if enabled)

These services may collect information in accordance with their own policies to provide ads, measure usage, and help diagnose crashes.

3. Google Play “Data Safety” Summary

This section summarizes, in the format used by Google Play Console, what types of data may be collected through the app (mainly by third-party SDKs such as AdMob and Firebase), how they are used, and how they are handled.

How this maps to Google Play Console answers

• Data collection: Some data is collected automatically by third-party SDKs for advertising, analytics, and crash reporting.
• Data sharing: Certain categories (such as approximate location, app activity, device IDs, and app performance data) are shared with our service providers (Google AdMob, Firebase, etc.) to provide ads, analytics, and crash diagnostics.
• Data is not sold: We do not sell your personal data to any third parties.
• Security: Data transmitted between the app and servers is protected using industry-standard encryption (HTTPS) where supported by the services.
• Account not required: You can use the app without creating an account.
• User controls: You can:
  • Uninstall the app to stop all data collection by the app and its SDKs.
  • Reset your Advertising ID and change ad personalization settings in your Google account.
  • Control app permissions (e.g., Storage) from your device Settings.

4. App Permissions and How We Use Them

To function correctly, the app requests a limited set of Android permissions. We only use these permissions for the purposes described below and do not access data that is not related to the app’s functionality.

Prevent device from sleeping during use	android.permission.WAKE_LOCK	Allows the app to keep the screen awake for a short period while you are actively viewing recipes or content, so the screen does not turn off unexpectedly during use.
Read images/files related to the app	android.permission.READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE	Used only to read images or files that are needed by the app (for example, displaying recipe images or sharing app content using the system file provider). We do not browse or upload your personal photos or files for any other purpose.

The app does not request access to your contacts, SMS, phone call logs, microphone, or camera for its core functionality.

5. Log Data

In case of an error in the app, third-party services may collect data on your device called Log Data. This may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, app settings at the time of the error, and the time/date of the error. This information is used only to diagnose and fix issues.

6. Cookies

The app itself does not use cookies directly. However, some third-party services (such as ad networks) may use cookies or similar technologies to improve their services and measure performance. You can manage or disable these through your device settings or the service’s settings where applicable.

7. Children’s Privacy

The app is designed for a general audience and is not specifically directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

8. Data Retention and Security

We do not store sensitive personal data on our own servers for this app. Any data processed by third-party services is stored and protected according to their own policies. We strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting any information processed through the app, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9. Your Choices

• You can uninstall the app at any time to stop all data collection by the app and its services.
• You can reset your device’s Advertising ID or change ad-personalization settings in your device’s Google settings.
• You can manage app permissions (such as storage) from your device settings.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page and the “Last Updated” date at the top will be revised. We encourage you to review this page periodically for any updates.
